Every fortnight you will be treated to award winning comedians all trying out their newest material. Some of these faces you may have already seen on the telly, some of them you will in the next few years. Set in the lovely relaxing Subplot 57 bar below Leaf and Groove book and record shop. Get here early to check out the books and records and enjoy some delicious cocktails.

Darren Harriott is one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit. Over the last few years, he has hosted Live at the Apollo, BBC’s News Jack Unplugged and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. He has become a regular face on our screens on panel shows such Mock the Week and Don’t Hate the Playaz as well as giving his viewpoint on popular reality shows; The Apprentice: Your Fired and The Great British Bake Off: Extra Slice. He’s a Comedy Central favourite on shows such as The Comedy Bus and Roast Battle. Earlier this year he wrote and recorded his own 4 part series Black Label on BBC Radio 4.
Winner of Best Debut Show at What’s On London Comedy Awards 2016, the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Award 2013, the Boom-tish New Act Award 2011, runner up in the Bath Comedy Festival New Act, Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act and Leicester Square New Comedian competitions in 2011.
Andrea Hubert started out on the comedy circuit in late 2009, and within 20 gigs gained second place in a national competition. She’s since performed alongside some of the UK’s best comedians at prestigious comedy clubs all over the UK, been commissioned as a writer for a BBC pilot, and was dubbed One to Watch in 2012 by London is Funny, for whom she went on to write a comedy poetry blog in 2012.
Tatty Macleod is a French/English bilingual stand-up comedian and improviser. Her sketches on Instagram and TikTok have amassed over 10million views.
She was the winner of “le Best de l’humour London 2018”, she was also a 2 Northdown new comedian of the year semi-finalist and a Funny Women award nominee.
